SK hynix wins top functional safety rating for automotive DRAM

SK hynix said on Jan. 19 it has secured ISO 26262 ASIL-D certification for its LPDDR5X automotive DRAM. ASIL-D is the highest grade under the international functional safety standard and applies to systems directly related to human life. The company said the product meets performance, safety and reliability needs for ADAS, autonomous driving and in-vehicle infotainment, and incorporates fault notification, self-diagnosis and repair functions.

Kakao runs AI image promotion for creating personalised 'My Zzordi' on KakaoTalk

Kakao said on Sunday it is running an AI image-generation promotion on KakaoTalk using its ChatGPT for Kakao service, allowing users to create personalised 'My Zzordi' character images. Users upload a photo and the AI analyses its features to generate a Zzordi-based character image. Access is via the ChatGPT button in KakaoTalk and a banner in the menu. The daily creation opportunity resets at 10 a.m.

Com2uS Holdings to roll out 8 new games this year, from puzzle to MMO

Com2uS Holdings said on Jan. 19 it plans to release eight new publishing titles in 2026 to drive growth in its game business. The lineup spans MMORPGs, puzzle games and collectible RPGs. Puzzle titles Color Sweeper and Pawpop Match target soft launches in the first quarter. The company also plans a revamped Ares and Talion sequel Project V for the second half, alongside additional new titles including Star Sailor and ProjectD.
