Musinsa and 29CM will run a 10-day promotion from Jan. 19 to 28 called “Gubbang Coupons,” a pack of nine coupons, Musinsa said on Monday. The event is meant to thank customers following the effects of new sign-ups and increased transactions recorded from Jan. 1 to 14.

The promotion expands benefits previously worth 50,000 won to 90,000 won. It adds four 10,000 won coupons that can be used in popular categories such as shoes, outerwear, kids and Musinsa Standard, on top of the existing four categories. It also newly includes a 10,000 won discount coupon that can be used not only online but also at Musinsa offline stores nationwide.

29CM will also issue nine coupons by category to all members, covering nine categories including fashion, accessories, home, beauty and food. It will also hold a payback event that returns 5,000 won when customers top up “Musinsa Money,” order at least 10,000 won and confirm the purchase.

Musinsa said its early January promotion delivered meaningful results in securing new customers. Daily new sign-ups at Musinsa and 29CM rose 46.1 percent and 53.5 percent, respectively, from a year earlier. By category, transaction value surged for body care in Musinsa Beauty, up 100 percent, and bathroom supplies in lifestyle, up 2.6 times, while 29CM’s total beauty transaction value grew 65 percent year on year.

A Musinsa official said the promotion reaffirmed that Musinsa and 29CM have competitiveness as a taste platform covering lifestyle beyond fashion. The official said the company plans to keep expanding benefits that customers can actually enjoy.
