The Poco M8 5G weighs 178 grams and comes with a 5,520 mAh battery. At 7.35 mm thick, it is the thinnest in the Poco M series. It uses a dual-curved design and supports IP66 water and dust resistance. It passed SGS comprehensive shock and drop tests.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 mobile platform and scored more than 850,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. It offers AI features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search and supports 45W fast charging. It also supports RAM expansion up to 16GB. It can use up to 1TB of external storage.
It features a 172.1 mm (6.77-inch) Flow AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports up to 3,200 nits of brightness, the DCI-P3 wide color gamut and 12-bit color. It applies TUV Rheinland eye care certification and high-frequency PWM dimming technology. It includes dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certification.
It includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 400 main camera and a 20-megapixel front camera. It supports 4K video recording at 30 fps. It offers AI-based shooting features including AI portrait mode, AI beauty, AI reflection removal and AI sky correction.
From Jan. 26 to Feb. 8, it will give first-time buyers a 'Xiaomi 22.5W 10,000 mAh power bank' worth 24,800 won. It will be released in three colors: black, green and silver. The recommended retail price for the 8GB RAM plus 256GB model is 339,900 won.
