Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 said on Jan. 19 it launched the "Cafe24 PRO trial space", allowing users to instantly view and try out a customised online store by simply entering a website address (URL).
The service was designed to use automation technology to address design concerns during the store-building stage and provide a business simulation that also covers logistics services.
When a user enters a URL they operate or want to reference, the system analyses the site and automatically classifies it into a suitable business type from 30 categories. It then generates customised mockups of core screens needed for actual operations, including the home page, product detail pages and order forms. A key feature is that it recreates detailed elements inside the product detail pages, such as reviews, inquiries, and shipping and return information, in the same way as in real operations.
Beyond design composition, it also includes content and logistics trial features. The system automatically generates marketing copy optimised for the store, and users can preview the service environment of "Cafe24 Daily Delivery", which supports deliveries 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The designs provided come in 5 types, including a basic type, a B2B-focused type and a brand-emphasis type.
The service introduces the concept of a real estate "model house". After checking the finished look of the store and the delivery system, customers can subscribe to the "Cafe24 PRO" service using the mockup as is and start their business immediately. It also provides guidance for entering global markets through a multilingual store mockup function that supports 43 languages.
Cafe24 CEO Jae-seok Lee said the Cafe24 PRO trial space is a tool that visualises what had been a vague process of building and operating an online store, helping operators clearly set their business direction. He said the company will continue to build an environment in which online business operators can focus only on creative activities.
