Miso Information Technology, a multimodal data platform company, said on Monday its SmartMDQ data quality diagnosis service has been designated an innovation product by the Ministry of Science and ICT after recognition of its technological innovation and public value.
The company said SmartMDQ can be introduced through the Public Procurement Service's public innovation procurement platform, Innovation Market. It said purchase-linked trials are possible through a pilot procurement programme under which innovation products are pre-purchased and provided to demand institutions.
SmartMDQ provides automated detection of data errors, verification of consistency, completeness and accuracy, standards-based data quality management, and functions to secure the reliability of data for AI and analysis for data generated across various public sectors.
It combines rule-based validation with AI-based quality diagnosis technology to support refining and managing medical data, and production, equipment and quality data in manufacturing environments, as well as administrative and operational data of public institutions, to a level that enables AI use.
Miso Information Technology plans to use SmartMDQ to actively support digital transformation across the public and industrial sectors, including data-driven advancement for AI factory construction projects, provision of core data infrastructure (SaaS) for manufacturing AX, strengthened data governance and reliability for public institutions, and securing baseline data quality for AI, big data and Digital Platform Government tasks.
Miso Information Technology CEO Nam Sang-do said, "The starting point for AX transformation at public institutions lies in securing reliable data quality." He added, "With this designation as a Public Procurement Service innovation product as a turning point, we will also actively contribute to innovation in public data quality management and advancement of data-driven public services."
