JobKorea says companies using performance-based hiring solution Smart Pick double in three months

JobKorea said a survey showed growing interest in performance-based hiring as companies focus on cost efficiency. In a poll of 1,286 corporate members, 48.9 percent had hiring budgets below 5 million won. Companies running always-on hiring accounted for 40.0 percent, while 37.2 percent hired in both the first and second half, indicating 8 in 10 recruit year-round. About 45 percent said paid hiring products were a cost burden.

The company also plans to expand online-to-offline networking.

JobPlanet, operated by Worksphere, said on Monday it has fully revamped its brand identity and will expand beyond a corporate review platform into a platform for career choice criteria. The company said the overhaul links JobPlanet’s mission of providing reliable information at moments of choice with Worksphere’s direction of creating a better future through better experiences. It plans to strengthen user experience and pursue service integration and data linkage with platforms such as JobKorea and Albamon.
