JobKorea says first-half AI job postings jump 128 percent, non-development hiring rises

JobKorea said AI job postings in the first half rose 128 percent from a year earlier, with about 18,000 AI-keyword listings registered through June. It said postings designated as AI specialist roles increased 128 percent, and experienced-hire postings rose 140 percent, outpacing entry-level roles. Non-development AI job postings climbed 325 percent, lifting their share to 21.6 percent. Large companies recorded the biggest rise in postings.

JobKorea launches office worker drawing contest

AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea, operated by Worksphere, is holding an online event called the first Office Worker Drawing Contest using generative AI. The event is held with character creator Yeolsalham, popular on Instagram. Participants choose one of four provided characters and use AI tools to create an image depicting office workers. Winners will be selected based on three criteria, with prizes for 236 people including Naver Pay points.

JobKorea publishes report on how to spend hiring budgets to drive results

JobKorea published a report analysing corporate hiring budget execution and plans for the second half of 2026, based on a survey of 580 companies. It found 24.7 percent said they mostly met first-half hiring targets, while 50.7 percent hired only some of what they planned and 17.1 percent reported weak results. For the second half, 70.5 percent plan to keep budgets unchanged, with more firms cutting or halting spending than expanding it.
