AI and data-based HR tech platform Worksphere said on Sept. 7 it opened an official newsroom and unveiled a welcome kit for new employees.
The Worksphere newsroom is an official communication channel that gathers major group news and insights. It provides press coverage and interview articles categorized by brand, including JobKorea, Albamon, JobPlanet and NineHire.
Worksphere plans to use the newsroom as a medium through which stakeholders such as media, investors, partners and prospective applicants can directly check verified information. It also plans to expand its role as a channel for the company to issue its own messages based on context and data.
The welcome kit released alongside it was planned as part of a process to redefine how employees work together after the company name change. Under the view that "work is made in everyday routines repeated rather than in grand moments," the company said, it was designed so new hires can experience the organizational culture directly from their first day and feel the company's identity.
The kit consists of 8 items, including a notebook and pen, a tumbler, a mousepad, a toothbrush sterilizer, an umbrella, socks, a hoodie and stickers. Hwang Si-yeon (황시연), a team leader on the brand team overseeing Worksphere design and brand experience, said each item contains Worksphere's way of working, from a notebook and pen to record daily growth, to a tumbler to share tea time with colleagues, to an umbrella that can be handed to a colleague first on a rainy day.
A Worksphere official said recruitment branding is completed not through flashy slogans but through experiences that applicants and employees actually face. The official said the company plans to strengthen the recruitment journey experience so that it connects with consistent attitudes and direction wherever the Worksphere experience starts, from the newsroom through which people first learn about the company to the welcome kit received on the first day of work, and to build a healthy organizational culture.
