Musk says Optimus training like parenting, must watch and learn like humans

Tesla has begun producing its humanoid robot Optimus and plans to start customer deliveries by the end of next year, it said. Chief Executive Elon Musk likened Optimus training to an infant’s development, saying the robot must learn by watching humans and repeating tasks. He said Tesla is building an “Optimus Academy” to generate training data and argued that 10,000 to 20,000 robots are needed for repeated learning.
