OpenAI steps up coding push with GPT-5.3 Codex to counter Anthropic

OpenAI has introduced its latest AI model, GPT-5.3 Codex, as it intensifies its push into coding AI and seeks to check rival Anthropic. The company said the model goes beyond writing and reviewing code to handle most computer tasks a developer can perform, including tests, fixes and workflow updates. OpenAI said performance and reasoning speed improved. Competition is also rising as Anthropic expands Claude Code and rolls out Claude Opus 4.6.

Woori Financial Group dispatches university supporters to Milan

Woori Financial Group said on Feb. 10 it will dispatch a university student correspondent team, Team Woori Supporters, to Milan to convey the atmosphere of the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics. The team will stay from Feb. 16 to 22 and cover the women’s figure skating singles free and short track men’s and women’s relay finals. It will also report from a Korea House and conduct interviews with athletes.

Webcash Global partners with VNPT e-Pay to target Vietnam B2B fintech

Webcash Global said on Monday its Vietnam unit, Webcash Vietnam, has partnered with Vietnamese electronic payment company VNPT e-Pay to drive digital financial transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises. The two companies signed an MOU in Ho Chi Minh City to cooperate on B2B fintech solutions. They plan to develop an integrated service combining VNPT e-Pay’s POS and payment gateway services with Webcash Vietnam’s WeTax e-invoicing solution, covering payments, tax and cash management.
