[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Cloudera said on Monday it will expand its on-premises solutions based on Cloudera AI Inference and a Trino-based data warehouse.
Cloudera said it has also strengthened data visualisation AI and analytics capabilities and simplified AI workflows across cloud, edge and data centres.
The company said that as companies move from AI experimentation to full-scale AI operations, it has become important how AI can securely and reliably access data, wherever it is stored.
Powered by Nvidia technology, Cloudera AI Inference is designed for on-premises environments, allowing companies to deploy and scale all AI models directly in their own data centres, including the latest Nvidia Nemotron open models for large language models (LLMs), anomalous transaction detection, computer vision and voice AI.
Leo Brunnick (레오 브루닉), Cloudera's chief product officer, said, "This on-premises expansion provides companies with an unprecedented level of AI control and flexibility." He said, "By using Cloudera AI Inference, a Trino-based data warehouse and data visualisation in the data centre, companies can securely deploy AI and analytics directly without moving their most important data. This is a way to ensure data security, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, and to drive innovation and insights."
