SpeakEasy Labs Korea, which operates the AI English-learning app Speak, will run an "Unlock" promotion to open the app free of charge for 6 days from Feb. 13 to 18 during the Lunar New Year holiday. After Unlock ends, it will also run a 70 percent discount promotion on subscription products for 10 days from Feb. 19 to 28.
During the Unlock period, learners can use Speak's core features without restrictions, without registering a credit card or entering separate payment information. Speak recently strengthened its personalised lessons, called Adaptive Lessons, in a winter update so lessons are flexibly adjusted based on a learner's goals, learning pace and cumulative learning history. It said this allows learners to feel a personalised experience that becomes more tailored the more they speak.
Speak will also run a challenge during the Unlock period called "Becoming a New Yorker by Speaking," which expands the English speaking experience into real-world practice.
