Woori Financial Group said on Feb. 10 it will dispatch its university student correspondent team, Team Woori Supporters, to Milan to convey the atmosphere of the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics.

The team plans to spend 6 nights and 7 days in Milan from Feb. 16 to 22 and visit the venues for the women’s figure skating singles free and the short track men’s and women’s relay finals. Moments of support will be produced as short-form videos and content and delivered in South Korea through social media.

Outside the arenas, it plans to visit the Korea House on site to cover off-venue cheering and meet athletes in person for interviews, delivering behind-the-scenes stories that broadcast cameras may not capture.

Woori is also running a commercial featuring its advertising model IU under the slogan, "South Korea’s national team financial group." Since Feb. 2, it has been holding the "Team Woori" cheering event involving 8 affiliates.

Jae-hyuk Lee (이재혁), a deputy head of the Brand Strategy Department at Woori Financial Group, said dynamic content created by the university supporters through on-the-ground efforts would amplify the Olympic emotions for the public. He said the group would continue creating opportunities to connect with future generations through sports.
