Smilegate\'s \'Eclipse\' tops revenue charts on Google Play and Apple App Store

Smilegate\'s new MMORPG \"Eclipse: The Awakening\" reached No. 1 in revenue on both Google Play and Apple\'s App Store five days after launch. The company said the title, developed by Npixel, topped Google Play\'s top-grossing chart on Sept. 15 after ranking No. 1 on the App Store following its Sept. 10 release. Smilegate will provide in-game rewards through Oct. 14 and outlined planned service changes in a developer livestream.

Smilegate launches official service for \'Eclipse: The Awakening\'

Smilegate said on Wednesday it has begun official service for \'Eclipse: The Awakening,\' an MMORPG developed by Npixel. The game is available on both PC and mobile and supports cross-play between the two platforms. Smilegate has also launched in-game events tied to character growth and equipment acquisition, along with payment promotions. Offline, it is partnering with Saenghwalmaekju to sell related products through Oct. 11 and provide in-game coupons to set buyers.

Smilegate to launch new MMORPG \'Eclipse\' on Sept. 10

Smilegate said on Sept. 3 it will launch the new massively multiplayer online role-playing game \'Eclipse: The Awakening\', developed by Npixel, at noon on Sept. 10. The game supports PC and mobile cross-platform play, and allows up to two PC clients to run at once. Character pre-creation for 24 servers in August ended early. Smilegate will hold a livestream on its official YouTube channel on Sept. 5.
