Smilegate said on Sept. 3 it will launch the new massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Eclipse: The Awakening', developed by Npixel, at noon on Sept. 10.

Eclipse supports cross-platform play on PC and mobile. On PC, up to two clients can run simultaneously. Character pre-creation held in August for 24 servers ended early.

It brands itself as 'MMOLite', aimed at reducing the burden of logging in and competing. In its core 'Sanctuary' content, it provides summoning tickets and growth resources over time. An AI mode allows characters to grow even while users are not logged in.

Ahead of the launch, it will hold a live broadcast at 8 p.m. on Sept. 5 on its official YouTube channel. Producer Sang-moon Lee (이상문) and special guests are set to appear, introduce a new trailer, launch events and future update plans, and take questions in real time.

Smilegate director Jaeik Shin (신재익) said, "We will raise the completion level of the service up to launch, and we will reveal related news in the Sept. 5 broadcast."
