Amazon has unveiled 2 new Bee AI devices that listen to and record conversations, CNBC reported on Wednesday.

The products are a wrist-worn wearable and a credit-card-sized voice recorder.

Bee Frontier is an upgraded version of the existing wearable and can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing, the report said. Its battery lasts up to 7 days, as in the previous generation. The price rose to $75 from $50 for the earlier product.

Bee Frontier has 2 microphones and also provides a noise-filtering function. Amazon explained that Bee Frontier records only key content even in crowded restaurants or open-plan offices.

Bee Eclipse costs $100 and can be used without being worn on the body by attaching it magnetically to the back of a smartphone. Bee Frontier has launched, and Bee Eclipse is set to be introduced soon.

Amazon acquired San Francisco startup Bee in July 2025. It did not disclose the purchase price. Bee's bracelet supports recording, transcribing and analysing conversations using AI and a microphone.

Amazon Echo speakers start listening when users say a wake word. Bee devices record continuously while they are turned on. Amazon said this enables conversation summaries, reviewing conversations from recent days and identifying recurring interests.

With a $12-a-month Bee Pro subscription, users can use unlimited conversation summaries and daily logs. It also links with Amazon's online mall, the Alexa Plus AI assistant and external apps.

Amazon emphasised that no one, including the company, can access user data. Users can delete conversation logs and summaries at any time, and audio is not stored. An LED light turns on while recording.

Bee devices are expected to compete with Meta AI smart glasses, Muse Charm, Plaud's card-type memo device and the Friend AI necklace.
