An analysis says Bitcoin\'s four-year cycle remains valid and the next cyclical bottom may form in October 2026. Cryptocurrency analyst Benjamin Cowen (벤저민 코웬) said the current cycle has not deviated much from past patterns, citing the timing of previous peaks after prior bottoms. He rejected claims that spot ETFs, corporate treasury demand and a Bitcoin reserve-asset narrative broke the cycle. He said Bitcoin could retest $60,000 this year.

A recurring pattern seen ahead of the 2017 and 2021 bull markets has reappeared in a long-term chart of altcoin market capitalisation, drawing attention. The altcoin season index stands at 35, keeping the market in a bitcoin season zone. Analysts cited in the report said the bullish setup would need bitcoin dominance to turn lower. Bitcoin dominance recently closed at 60.88 percent, breaking above a prior range, with 66.06 percent flagged as resistance.
