Mintrocket\'s \'Dave the Diver\' tops 10 million copies, expands to mobile after PC and consoles

Mintrocket\'s \'Dave the Diver\' has surpassed 10 million copies in cumulative global sales, the first such record for a domestic single-package game. Mintrocket said on Tuesday it has continued sales three years after launch by expanding supported platforms and adding downloadable content. The game broadened from PC to PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Xbox, and plans a global mobile release on Sept. 17 via Apple App Store and Google Play.

Crit Ventures makes follow-on investment in \'Zeus: God of Arrogance\' developer Avertone

Venture capital firm Crit Ventures has made a follow-on investment in Avertone, the developer of the MMORPG \"Zeus: God of Arrogance\". The firm said on Thursday it executed the investment through a project fund of about 6 billion won formed for investing in Avertone. It is the second investment following an initial one in 2024. Avertone was founded by CEO Kim Dae-hwan, who previously oversaw development of titles including Nexon’s \"Prasia War\" and \"Dave the Diver\".

Playwith Korea starts pre-registration for mobile MMORPG Seal M2

Playwith Korea said on Wednesday it has started pre-registration for its mobile MMORPG Seal M2, which is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of this year. Pre-registration is available on Google Play, Apple App Store and the game’s official website. All participants will receive 50 oparts summon tickets, 50 costume summon tickets and a mount, \"Famous Horse Alexandra\". Additional rewards will be offered as pre-registrations reach set milestones.
