NHN said on Monday it has started global pre-registration for its new match-3 puzzle game, "Oshi no Ko Puzzle Star".

"Oshi no Ko Puzzle Star" is the first official puzzle game produced based on the TV anime "Oshi no Ko". It will be available via Google Play and Apple App Store and supports Korean, Japanese, English, and simplified and traditional Chinese.

The game features characters from the original work and is built around puzzle play that connects and clears blocks.

It applies different puzzle skills and presentation for each character. It also offers a "Memory Board" that lets users revisit key episodes from the original anime.

It also includes collection and customization elements such as costume changes using original outfits and game-exclusive illustrations.

NHN plans to provide B-Komachi Ai's costume and decoration items to all users after the global launch. It will also give rewards including game items used to clear stages and diamonds for 10 gacha pulls.

The original "Oshi no Ko" is a work created by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari. The third season of the TV anime aired in the first quarter of this year, and production of a fourth season has also been confirmed.

Jung Joong-jae (정중재), head of NHN's game business division, said pre-registration has started ahead of the global launch of the first official puzzle game for "Oshi no Ko". He said the company has also prepared rewards for global users, including B-Komachi Ai's costume and decoration items.
