China tightens grip on global humanoid robot supply chain, evolves into economies of scale

At CES 2026, U.S. companies showcased technologies combining AI and humanoid robots, but China holds a strong position in the parts ecosystem and manufacturing, according to a Wall Street Journal report. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang called China world-leading in microelectronics, motors, rare earths and magnets.
