Aton joins AI-based vulnerability defence initiative Project Canopy

Aton said on Wednesday it has joined Project Canopy, an initiative aimed at spreading AI-based vulnerability defence technology, as a Defending Partner. Project Canopy is a public-interest AI security alliance launched in June by the non-profit Project Plasma, focusing on boosting defences for domestic public-interest and livelihood infrastructure with limited security resources. Defending Partners receive vulnerability and patch information and can request checks of open-source and infrastructure systems.

Sh Suhyup Bank runs corporate credit analysis forum for SK Group affiliates

Sh Suhyup Bank is providing education on corporate credit analysis and financial strategy for employees of SK Group affiliates. The bank said on July 13 it is running the Sh Suhyup Bank Credit Strategy Forum to strengthen knowledge sharing and financial cooperation with corporate clients. The forum is being held in seven sessions for employees from units including SK Gas, SK Chemical, SK Discovery and SK Plasma at the ECO Hub inside the SK Discovery Complex.

U.S. GENIUS Act detailed rules deadline set for July 18 as stablecoin issuers face shakeout

The U.S. stablecoin market may tilt further toward large issuers as a July 18 deadline approaches for finalising detailed rules under the GENIUS Act. The regime would require high-liquidity reserves, monthly verification, licensing and anti-money laundering systems. Industry participants say the rules could raise barriers for smaller issuers because many compliance costs are largely fixed. The law also bans paying interest simply for holding tokens, shifting issuer profitability toward reserve returns and distribution reach.
