Sh Suhyup Bank is providing education on corporate credit analysis and financial strategy for employees of SK Group affiliates.

Sh Suhyup Bank said on July 13 it is running the Sh Suhyup Bank Credit Strategy Forum to strengthen knowledge sharing and financial cooperation with corporate clients.

The forum has been held in a total of 7 sessions since July 2 for employees of major SK Group affiliates including SK Gas, SK Chemical, SK Discovery and SK Plasma. The training is taking place at the ECO Hub inside the SK Discovery Complex, with Gi-tae Yang (양기태), executive vice president of Sh Suhyup Bank's risk management group, delivering the lectures.

The program is designed to analyse a company's financial structure and cash flows by linking the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.

Key topics include corporate management analysis, interpretation of financial structures, and understanding business cycles and the macroeconomic environment. It focused on strengthening strategic decision-making and financial management capabilities by reflecting each company's business environment and financial characteristics.

In particular, it used a corporate credit analysis framework that analyses financial statements by linking corporate strategy, cash flows, governance structure and the macroeconomic environment.

Il-rok Choi (최이룩), head of finance at SK Gas, said, "This training was impressive in that it allowed us to interpret a company's business activities and cash flows as a single flow."

Hak-gi Shin (신학기), CEO of Sh Suhyup Bank, said, "We will continue to expand relationship banking that grows together with corporate clients through various knowledge-sharing programmes."
