Hanwha Q Cells begins full-scale commercial validation of perovskite tandem
Hanwha Solutions\' Q Cells division, Hanwha Q Cells, said on Sunday it will take part as the lead institution in a government research and development project to develop and demonstrate tandem module technology combining perovskite and crystalline silicon. The three-year consortium research aims to demonstrate commercial-area tandem modules of at least 1.7 square metres with module efficiency of 28 percent or higher. Hanwha Q Cells will also conduct outdoor demonstrations and business feasibility analysis and targets commercialisation in 2029.
