Shinhan Bank issues 600 million euro green covered bond, draws 3.8 times target orders
Shinhan Bank issued a 600 million euro green covered bond after demand from European investors led it to raise the deal size above its initial target. The 3.5-year bond was priced at mid-swaps plus 19 basis points, with an annual coupon of 3.4116 percent. It drew 1.9 billion euros of orders, about 3.8 times the initial 500 million euro target. Moody\'s and Fitch rated the bond Aaa and AAA.

Waymo and Zoox test drivers suffered more than 20 injuries in 2024 and 2025 due to sudden movements by autonomous vehicles, including hard braking, TechCrunch reported on Aug. 30, citing filings submitted to the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Drivers suffered whiplash and other injuries during abrupt stops, and some were unable to work for months. TechCrunch said similar injuries may have affected other developers’ test drivers.

Waymo to launch first European robotaxi service in Munich in 2027
Waymo is pushing to launch a robotaxi service in Munich, aiming for a commercial ride-hailing rollout by late 2027. The company plans to map roads with human-driven cars, then conduct autonomous tests with safety operators before moving to driverless trials. Waymo said it is working with Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority and local authorities to secure permits and approvals. The move would be Waymo’s first entry into the EU.
