LG Electronics launches \'LG Professional\' large-capacity commercial laundry appliances

LG Electronics is launching its \'LG Professional\' large-capacity commercial laundry appliances to strengthen its push into the global B2B market. The company said it will begin sales in Europe this month and then roll out the products sequentially in key markets including Asia and North America. The lineup includes six models, such as 30, 25 and 20 kg washers and 30 and 25 kg dryers, using AI-based technology to improve performance and energy efficiency.

LG Electronics targets global market with heat pump technology

LG Electronics is stepping up efforts to accelerate the shift to carbon neutrality at industrial sites with industrial heat pumps. The company supplied a large-capacity heat pump system to paper maker Ajin P&P in Daegu and began operations in early July. The project is part of a government-led national R&D programme pursued since 2023 by 15 industry, academia and research bodies including LG Electronics.
