Naver Happy Bean to support 300 young adults leaving care with emotional and living aid
Naver Corp\'s Happy Bean said on Wednesday it signed an agreement with South Korea\'s health ministry and partner organisations for the On:Youth Project to support young adults preparing for independence. The project will run through December and provide living and housing support and relationship-building programmes to 300 people within five years of leaving care. It will prioritise youths living in 107 areas, including depopulating regions. Partners will also provide essentials, camps and online community channels.

KakaoBank launches \'Sticky Card\' PLCC with Shinhan Card
KakaoBank launched a private label credit card with Shinhan Card on Aug. 21. The KakaoBank Sticky Shinhan Card offers discounts focused on daily spending, including simple payments, AI subscription services, memberships and shopping. It provides 10 percent off certain online payments and AI subscription billings, 50 percent off selected memberships, and 10 percent off at major offline retailers. Discount limits vary by prior-month spending. A promotional refund event runs through Oct. 31.

The Ministry of Science and ICT’s Postal Service said it launched the \'Post Office My All Day Debit Card\' on Aug. 18, reflecting key spending patterns of middle-aged customers. The card offers 5 percent cashback in areas such as dining, health, exercise, culture, leisure, travel and shopping, and 10 percent cashback on postal services including postage, EMS and Post Office Shopping. Cashback benefits can total up to 30,000 won a month depending on transaction performance.
