[DigitalToday reporter Jin-ho Lee] The Ministry of Science and ICT’s Postal Service launched the 'Post Office My All Day Debit Card' on Aug. 18, reflecting key spending patterns of middle-aged customers.

The My All Day Debit Card offers 5 percent cashback across key daily areas for middle-aged customers, including dining, health, exercise, culture, leisure, travel and shopping. It provides 10 percent cashback when using postal services such as postage, Express Mail Service (EMS) and Post Office Shopping. Customers can receive up to 30,000 won in cashback per month depending on their transaction performance, including the previous month’s spending, average monthly balance, and Post Office savings transaction performance such as public pension or salary-type transfers.

To mark the launch, the Postal Service will run the 'Benefits All Day!' promotion through Oct. 31. It will draw 1,000 customers based on cumulative card spending and provide gold bars and Shinsegae Department Store gift certificates, among other items. It will also give coffee coupons by lottery to 5,000 customers who make their first payment after a new issuance. It will draw 1,000 customers who make at least 3 payments a day and give them Daiso mobile gift certificates.

The Postal Service will give commemorative stamp albums, scheduled to be issued in the second half of this year, to 500 customers who make cumulative payments of at least 100,000 won overseas or on cross-border online shopping with a Post Office Master debit card, including My All Day.

Postal Service head In-hwan Park (박인환) said, "The Post Office My All Day Debit Card is a product that includes benefits in areas frequently used in both postal services and daily life." He added, "We hope it will serve as an opportunity for customers to experience various benefits of Post Office financial services in their daily lives and use the Post Office as their main financial institution."
