Can the iPhone 17 Pro take better photos than a DSLR?
A comparison test found Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro camera can show performance similar to a professional DSLR in some scenes thanks to software processing. In shots against a Canon R6 II, the iPhone produced brighter, sharper tones using HDR and colour correction, while the DSLR delivered more realistic shadows and stronger colour and detail. The iPhone was faster for immediate output, but DSLR advantages remained in sensor size, lens choice and post-processing flexibility.

DJI unveils lightweight RS 5 gimbal for solo production
DJI said on Thursday it will launch a new lightweight commercial camera gimbal, the DJI RS 5. The company said the RS 5 is designed to improve usability in one-person video production with enhanced intelligent subject tracking, stabilisation and battery efficiency. It includes an upgraded tracking module and a fifth-generation stabilisation algorithm. DJI said the RS 5 will be sold from Jan. 30 in two options through official distributors and the DJI online store.

Korea IoT market accelerates shift to ODM model, Quectel offers end-to-end support
South Korea\'s IoT market is moving quickly from module-based development to ODM manufacturing as ageing and a shrinking developer pool make in-house hardware R&D harder, Quectel said. The company is responding through its unit IQTek by supporting the full process from design to production to speed product launches and reduce costs. Quectel said it holds more than 60 percent of the Korean cellular IoT module market and is also targeting growth in software-defined vehicles.
