Canon Korea will officially launch the video-focused full-frame mirrorless camera EOSR6V on June 19. It is the first full-frame model in the EOS R V series and comes with an approximately 32.5-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and a DIGIC X image engine.

The EOSR6V's core feature is its ability to record up to 7K 60P RAW video internally without external storage media. It supports high-quality 4K video based on approximately 7K oversampling, as well as 4K 120P without a crop to the angle of view and 2K 180P shooting. With a built-in cooling fan, it can shoot continuously for more than 120 minutes without overheating limits at an ambient temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. It also supports flexible reframing for various aspect ratios through open-gate shooting that uses the full 3:2 sensor. Canon Log 2 and 3 with up to 15-plus stops of dynamic range and in-body 5-axis image stabilisation (IS) are also included.

Also launching is the RF20-50mm F4 L IS USM PZ, a standard zoom lens that is the first full-frame RF lens to include a power zoom. Weighing 420 grams, it uses an inner-zoom design so the centre of gravity does not change during zoom operation. It is an EOSR6V-optimised kit lens with a 20 to 50 mm range and a constant F4 aperture.

The body is priced at 2,999,000 won, the RF20-50mm F4 L IS USM PZ lens at 1,879,000 won, and the EOSR6V 20-50 PZ kit, which includes the body and lens, at 4,328,000 won. Canon Korea also plans a world premiere screening of its brand short film, "You and My Phototherapy", shot with the EOSR6V, after it was officially invited to the Fantastic Shorts section of the 30th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN).
