Razer CEO says AI IPO supercycle is just beginning
Min-Liang Tan, co-founder and CEO of Singapore gaming hardware company Razer, said a surge of AI company IPOs is only at an early stage. He said more waves of new listings are likely beyond OpenAI, Anthropic and SpaceX. SpaceX is set for an IPO on June 12 and is targeting a valuation of about $1.77 trillion. Razer delisted in 2022 to focus on long-term AI investment.

VR, AR and XR showcased together as MSIT holds Korea Metaverse Festival 2026
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT is holding the 2026 Korea Metaverse Festival from June 10 to 12 at COEX in Seoul, showcasing trends in VR, AR, XR, digital twin and AI-based content. The event features 140 companies and 270 booths across governance, business, innovation and experience zones. It includes smartglasses trials, a global conference, a job fair and a graduate programme performance-sharing session.

Donut Lab solid-state battery claims questioned as tests suggest lithium-ion cell
An investigation has found that core technology touted by Donut Lab as a next-generation solid-state battery may in fact be a conventional lithium-ion battery. The findings, based on analysis of voltage curves, cell swelling data and estimated energy density, have fuelled controversy over technology validation. Questions have also been raised about the supply chain, commercialisation claims and fundraising. Local reports said Finnish financial authorities and investigative agencies are reviewing the matter.
