Mobile carriers launch PASS ID payment service

SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus introduced a PASS ID payment service that lets users confirm their identity and pay through one QR scan after registering an ID card and a credit card in the PASS app. The service targets purchases requiring adult verification and is available at GS25 stores and unmanned tobacco vending machines run by Beaverworks. The carriers plan to expand the service to other locations requiring age or residency checks.

Cafe24 sees SEO lift as product snippet doubles exposure, raises clicks 7.1 percent

Cafe24 reports that online shop exposure on search engines more than doubled after the firm applied product snippets by default. It says an analysis of more than 600 shops from October to mid‑November showed exposure rising sharply, with early November figures reaching the 25,000 range. Cafe24 says the feature helps search engines recognise structured product data and boosts click and conversion rates, giving merchants SEO strength without extra cost.

Baemin offers 4,990 won cashback on Baemin Club Tving Pack

Woowa Brothers is offering a December promotion for new subscribers to the Baemin Club Tving Pack. Customers who join by December 31 receive a discounted monthly fee of 4,990 won and a full refund of that amount in Baemin points. Former users who are not currently subscribed are eligible, including those who used the 100-won promotion earlier this year. Subscribers who join in December can keep the 4,990 won rate. The package bundles free Baemin delivery with Tving’s ad-supported plan.
