Com2uS Holdings has pre-released a new puzzle game ahead of its global official launch in the third quarter via a widely used domestic mobile messenger and payment platform.
On July 6, Com2uS Holdings said it has pre-released its mobile puzzle game "PawPop Match" through KakaoTalk and KakaoPay. The pre-release was arranged to show the game to domestic users first and build awareness ahead of the planned global official launch in the second half of this year.
Users can try PawPop Match through "KakaoTalk Game Play", a recently updated new service on KakaoTalk. By tapping the new Games tab added to the More menu at the bottom right of the app, the game runs immediately without a separate download. Fast play is also available in KakaoPay mini-games in the same way.
PawPop Match, developed by PentaPeak Studio under TUBYTE, is a match-3 puzzle game. In the Kakao platform version, the content has been lightly optimised to fit its characteristics. Along with match puzzles, the game combines mini-games, event content and an album collection system. Users can complete an album by collecting animal character theme images each time they clear a stage.
PawPop Match carried out a soft launch in the United States and Indonesia in February, where preference for puzzle games is high, confirming user response and content competitiveness in the North American and Southeast Asian markets.
Com2uS Holdings plans to officially launch the game in the global market in the third quarter this year and is currently taking pre-registrations through the two major app markets.
