Toss Bank said on Wednesday it has joined a relay campaign to eradicate illegal gambling among teenagers. The campaign, led by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, is a broad social prevention effort built around a message warning that illegal cyber gambling targeting youths is a fraudulent crime that cannot be beaten. Participants take verification photos and nominate two others to join next.

Hanwha Investment Securities said on March 12 that its CEO Jang Byeong-ho joined the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency-led “Youth Gambling Eradication Relay Campaign.” The nationwide relay activity aims to draw social attention to the risks of rapidly increasing illegal cyber gambling among teenagers and to promote the need for prevention. Jang participated on the recommendation of Kyobo Securities CEO Lee Seok-gi and nominated Meritz Securities CEO Kim Jong-min as the next participant.
