Enterprise solutions firm Younglimwon SoftLab will hold a seminar with Samjong KPMG on June 12 in Seoul to present response measures and a roadmap for International Financial Reporting Standard 18, which applies from 2027. IFRS 18 separates income statements into operating, investing and financing activities and standardises the basis for calculating operating profit. The companies said requirements such as disclosures of management-defined performance measures will tighten, prompting system changes.

Younglimwon SoftLab opened Y SPACE in Paju to expand a collaboration environment based on creativity, innovation and culture. The site spans about 5,327 square metres across four buildings and aims to strengthen communication, collaboration and productivity to ultimately innovate organisational culture. The company said the open design offers an immersive research setting. Facilities include work, work-stay, workshops and family休養 functions, with lodging and community amenities. It will also support global expansion efforts.
