Enterprise solution company Younglimwon SoftLab said on Tuesday it has partnered with 3D design solutions company Dassault Systemes Korea and will cooperate on an ERP-design solution integration project for digital manufacturing innovation.
Under the agreement, the companies will link design-stage drawings and bill of materials (BOM) data with ERP to build an integrated environment in which data are connected seamlessly from design to production and management.
Areas of cooperation include developing success cases for linking SOLIDWORKS PDM with K-System ERP, joint marketing based on those cases, and sharing cases between partners and working together on joint sales.
The companies plan to pursue various marketing activities such as joint seminars and content production. They also plan to strengthen cooperation between partners to expand the manufacturing industry's digital transformation market together.
Bae Jae-in (배재인), head of the Customer Experience (CRE) division at Dassault Systemes Korea, said, "SOLIDWORKS PDM and Younglimwon ERP are complementary solutions with their own strengths." He added, "We expect this cooperation will provide greater value to manufacturing customers and expand the market together."
Park Yoon-kyung (박윤경), vice president of Younglimwon SoftLab, said, "When design, production and management data are connected as one, manufacturing companies can make faster and more accurate decisions." She added, "We will continue to expand cooperation with various specialised solutions that can improve customer work efficiency and support an integrated work environment optimised for manufacturing companies."
