Enterprise solution company Younglimwon SoftLab is accelerating efforts to link employee-led AI use experience to upgrades of its ERP products.

Younglimwon SoftLab said on Sept. 7 it has set up a dedicated organisation to systematically push ahead with AI transformation, covering strategy, technology development, business application and product upgrades.

The organisation will handle the entire process, from establishing AI transformation strategy to technology development and operations, internal business deployment and reflecting it in customer services. It will pursue both internal work innovation and product upgrades by combining AI development capabilities with an understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) work.

Younglimwon SoftLab is expanding AI functions in its ERP products to support customer work efficiency and data use. Since August, it has provided features including "AI Auto Input", which automatically enters information from documents and images into ERP, "Business Briefing", which summarises ERP data, "Work Automation", which automatically handles repetitive tasks, and "AI Sheet Analysis" and "Business Insights", which analyse data and present key points.

AI chatbot "K-BOT" supports ERP data searches, automatic report generation, file-based question-and-answer functions and searches for knowledge on using ERP.

To continue upgrading AI functions, Younglimwon SoftLab is providing AI-use training and conducting pilot operations for employees, while also identifying cases that can be applied to actual work. Based on feedback collected from the training and pilots, it plans to continue improving the usage environment and expand training to working-level staff such as business division developers.

It is also running field-focused AI innovation workshops. On Aug. 26, it held a project workshop to review systems and work flows and shared AI-based work automation plans, practical deployment experience and areas for improvement.

Chief Executive Young-beom Kwon (권영범) said, "For AI innovation, rather than simply introducing new tools, it is important that employees find problems to solve in their respective work and accumulate hands-on experience." He said, "We will build results by applying AI first to repetitive and time-consuming tasks, and strengthen a system that links cases identified in the field to improvements in products and customer services."
