Enterprise solutions company Younglimwon Softlab said on July 9 it concluded the 2026 K-Hackathon for Global held via the Korean Society of Computer Information and selected outstanding projects for awards.

K-Hackathon for Global is a hands-on project competition to build enterprise information systems linked with ERP, using Younglimwon Softlab's enterprise information system web and app development platform Flextudio. Students developed web and app applications linked to ERP using Flextudio after understanding the basic ERP structure and business processes.

The company said 91 students from a university in Kyrgyzstan and 22 universities in South Korea took part and carried out team projects over 2 nights and 3 days. After preliminary screening, 22 teams selected advanced to final presentations. Finalists were judged on project creativity, technical implementation capability, feasibility and presentation completeness. Potential use in industrial settings was also reflected as a key evaluation factor.

The grand prize went to Konkuk University's Cheolsseok Cheolsseok team for its Zero-Stock ingredient-linked inventory operation app. In addition, a total of 10 teams won awards, including the Jeju National University president's award, Kyungwoon University president's award, the top excellence award (ZDNet Korea CEO award), the excellence award (Younglimwon Softlab CEO award), the encouragement award (SW Education Innovation Center chairman's award) and the Global BM award (Jeju National University AI Convergence Institute director's award).

Lee Won-joo (이원주), a professor at Inha Technical College and chair of the competition's steering committee, said participating students implemented various applications linked with ERP and presented ideas applicable to real corporate environments. He said there were many projects that evenly combined not only technical implementation capability but also an understanding of work and feasibility, and that he could confirm high-level deliverables usable in corporate settings.

Ho Woong-ki (호웅기), an executive director at Younglimwon Softlab, said that in the era of digital transformation it is becoming important not only to be able to use technology but also to understand and solve real work problems. He said the hackathon was designed to let students gain experience understanding ERP and directly solving workplace tasks by using AI and Flextudio. He said the company will continue to expand industry-academia cooperation that connects industrial sites and education to contribute to fostering future digital talent.
