AI-driven security automation to find and fix flaws is already reality, Microsoft executive says

Tae-soo Kim (김태수), vice president for agentic security at Microsoft headquarters, said AI-driven security automation to find and fix bugs is already usable now and that combining multiple AI models can improve results. Speaking at Codegate 2026 in Seoul, he said distinguishing what AI should handle versus what humans should judge is key. He described a multi-agent approach used in DARPA’s AI Cyber Challenge and Microsoft’s MDASH project.

OpenAI adds GPT Voice to ChatGPT desktop app, can read Mac screens

OpenAI has added voice work features to the ChatGPT desktop app, enabling users to hold conversations while carrying out tasks through GPT Voice. The update is based on the upgraded voice mode GPT-Live that was first applied on mobile this month. GPT Voice is available on macOS and Windows 11, while Mac users can use Appshots so ChatGPT can reference the active window for better context. The feature also links to computer-use functions, local files, plugins and iOS remote capability.

Jack Dorsey launches Buzz group chat platform for teams and AI agents to challenge Slack

Block, led by Jack Dorsey, has unveiled Buzz, a work group chat platform designed for people and AI agents to use in the same conversation window. TechCrunch reported Buzz targets Slack and GitHub, focusing on bundling multiple workflows into a single workspace. Dorsey said on X that Buzz is model-neutral, decentralized, self-sovereign and open source, allowing developers to modify or add features. A free desktop app is available for macOS, Windows 11 and Linux.
