Kakao Games to launch Dokkaebi World on Oct. 8, live demo on Sept. 18

Kakao Games will launch Supercat-developed MMORPG Dokkaebi World on Oct. 8. Ahead of the release, it will hold a live demonstration on Sept. 18 showing gameplay with real-time commentary from the development team. The company also unveiled key content and service plans at an online showcase, including the core combat \"Tosul\" system, an AI-based management function called Myorong, and an operations forum dubbed the Dokkaebi General Assembly.

Nexon unveils teaser for new MMORPG \'Overgeared\', set for release this year

Nexon will launch its new massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) \'Overgeared\', based on the web novel and webtoon intellectual property \'Item-Bearing\', in Korea and in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau later this year. The company released a cinematic teaser on Sept. 9 for the title being developed by Gray Games. Nexon plans to offer the game as a cross-platform service for PC and mobile and to disclose development updates and key content from October.

Team Naver proposes AI factory partnership in France, expands to industrial AI and content

Team Naver is expanding cooperation with French companies and institutions on AI infrastructure, industry-focused AI and content. Naver said CEO Choi Soo-yeon (최수연) and Naver Cloud CEO Kim Yoo-won (김유원) met French media, IT, energy, mobility and finance executives during President Lee Jae-myung’s France trip. It proposed jointly building an AI factory in Europe and outlined plans for sector-specific AI and content partnerships, including webtoons and an IP adaptation fund.
