MSIT holds \'Quantum Technology Understanding Day\' to expand basis for converged research
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT is moving to expand converged research between quantum technology and advanced fields including AI, semiconductors and biotech. The ministry will hold a \'Quantum Technology Understanding Day\' event on Sept. 3 at the National Research Foundation of Korea\'s Daejeon office. Academics, researchers and industry officials will discuss directions for convergence, hear invited talks on quantum machine learning and hybrid environments linking quantum and supercomputers, and receive briefings on new quantum-AI and quantum processor programmes.

Douzone Bizon holds AX Leadership Forum, outlines direction for public sector AX in age of AI agents
Douzone Bizon on Aug. 25 held the 37th AX Leadership Forum at Douzone Eulji Tower ATEC in central Seoul for officials from nonprofit and public institutions. The event was also livestreamed on its YouTube channel, DouzoneTV. Speakers addressed national-level AI agent adoption, public-sector AX tasks and directions for public institutions. Sessions also introduced AX implementation cases at major public bodies and shared methods for public-sector AX, including administrative automation and decision support.

KT, Seoul city hold AI future camp at Seoul Robot AI Science Museum
KT said on Aug. 23 it held an \"AI Future Camp\" with the Seoul city government, the Seoul Robot AI Science Museum and the Seoul Dobong Police Station on Aug. 22 for 100 elementary school students in Dobong district. Students joined five programs in four groups, including AI experience and ethics training, block-coding lessons linked to AICE, museum exhibitions and robot-arm drawing. They also received crime-prevention education on using AI.
