SK Broadband wins KOSHA chairman\'s award for industrial accident prevention
SK Broadband received a citation from the chairman of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency for its contribution to preventing industrial accidents and spreading a safety and health culture. The company won the award at a ceremony in Seoul and was the only recipient from the pay-TV industry. It has run prevention efforts through a dedicated safety unit and started fire safety consulting and regular training at key sites.

Seoul bike-share Ttareungi data leak victims to receive 30-day pass compensation
Seoul Facilities Corp will provide compensation coupons to more than 4 million victims of a data leak involving Seoul’s public bike-sharing service, Ttareungi. The corporation said it will send individual text messages to affected users and provide a 30-day pass coupon for 1-hour use worth 5,000 won. The coupon will be issued through the Ttareungi app next month and must be used within three months.

KT partners with Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation to support growth of young small merchants
KT said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation to support the growth of young small merchants. The agreement links KT’s youth small business programme, Y-iro-un Store, with the Seoul city government and the foundation’s youth restaurant start-up support programme, Prep Academy. The two sides will cooperate on branding, marketing, content production and digital skills to strengthen the competitiveness of young entrepreneurs’ stores.
