Dunamu, which operates digital asset exchange Upbit, will run an interactive education programme with the Seoul city government to boost young people’s financial literacy.

Dunamu said on Sept. 15 it will hold the “Seoul x Upbit UpClass Finance Golden Bell” on Sept. 19 at the main stage of Moonlight Square in Banpo Hangang Park in Seoul.

Quiz questions will cover the basics of asset management, knowledge about credit and loans, digital assets and future finance, and ways to prevent new financial scams such as voice phishing, Qshing and deepfakes.

Dunamu will also provide pre-learning content on digital assets and future finance through Upbit’s official YouTube and Instagram channels so participants can learn key concepts before the event.

The event will be run by having participants solve questions revealed on site using their own mobile phones. It will use a cumulative scoring system, allowing participation through the final question even after submitting wrong answers.

An Upbit official said the event was designed to help young people approach finance and digital assets, which they may find difficult, in a more friendly way. The official said the company would continue to foster sound financial knowledge and improve understanding of digital assets.
