AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on Sunday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Seoul AI Hub, Seoul city's base for fostering the AI industry, to help activate the AI industry ecosystem and support the growth of AI companies.

The two sides plan to cooperate to support research and development and commercialisation by Seoul-based AI companies, and to strengthen their global competitiveness. They also plan to work together to activate the AI industry ecosystem and expand AI transformation.

MegazoneCloud plans to provide high-performance computing and multicloud-based AI infrastructure and technical support, as well as professional consulting, to help AI companies supported by Seoul AI Hub develop AI services and commercialise them.

The two sides will jointly 추진 various programmes to expand the use of the latest AI technologies, including generative AI, large language models and AI agents, and to support the growth of AI companies. They plan to support stronger technological competitiveness through GPU and AI infrastructure support, technology seminars and networking programmes for AI companies.

Min-taek Seo (서민택), a vice president at MegazoneCloud, said competitiveness in the AI industry comes not only from strong technology but also from the infrastructure and ecosystem that support it. He said the company would actively support promising AI companies so they can accelerate innovation by using the latest AI technologies and high-performance computing resources and secure competitiveness in global markets through cooperation with Seoul AI Hub.
