SK Broadband receives a citation from the chairman of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency for its contribution to preventing industrial accidents and spreading a safety and health culture.

SKB wins the citation at the '2026 Seoul Industrial Safety and Health Month' ceremony held on Wednesday at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul. It is recognised for strengthening field-focused safety management, preventing industrial accidents and spreading a safety culture. It is the only recipient from the pay-TV industry.

SKB is promoting industrial accident prevention activities centred on a dedicated safety and health organisation. It signed a business agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Fire and Disaster Headquarters in March and has provided fire safety consulting and ongoing safety training at major business sites since May.

In September, it plans to take part in 'Seoul Safety Madang', a safety culture event hosted by the Seoul city government.

At the event, an awards ceremony is also held for a public contest to spread a safety and health culture, co-hosted by SKB, the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office, and the Seoul Metropolitan Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. The contest, held under the theme 'Make my workplace safe, make tomorrow happier', is divided into student and adult categories, with about 3,000 entries received.

In the student category, 'Dad! Coming home safely today is our family's happiness', and in the adult category, 'In a moment of carelessness, what breaks is a sweet daily life' each win the top prize. Winning works, including 4 grand prizes and 6 excellence awards, will be displayed at Seoul Safety Madang and used as educational materials for safety culture training.
