AWS launches \'Physical AI Frontier Program\' in South Korea
Amazon Web Services said on Wednesday it will launch the AWS Korea Physical AI Frontier Program, a physical AI development programme. The six-month programme will run from July to December 2026 and support Korean companies building, validating and commercialising physical AI solutions across robotics, autonomous driving, digital twins and industrial automation. AWS said it will combine cloud infrastructure, AI services, technical consulting and go-to-market support, and provide AWS credits for physical AI workloads.

Ndotlight raises 15 billion won to expand 3D data for robot training
Physical AI data company Ndotlight said on Tuesday it raised 15 billion won in funding. The round was led by KDB Industrial Bank, with follow-on participation from existing investors Naver D2SF, IMM Investment and Capstone Partners. NH Venture Investment, OurCrowd and Stonebridge joined as new investors. Ndotlight will use the proceeds to upgrade its generative CAD engine and physical-property database and expand integrations with Nvidia Isaac Sim and Omniverse workflows.

Big Tech companies are accelerating an offensive in the coding AI tools market, raising questions about shifts in a field led by Anthropic, OpenAI and Cursor.
