Neighbours recut into vertical short-form clips fuels debate over what counts as a microdrama
Australia\'s long-running drama \"Neighbours\" is being recut into vertical short-form videos, stoking debate over what should be considered a microdrama. RoseBerry Media plans to rework selected episodes for the short-form streaming platform Epis, focusing first on two late-2000s storylines featuring Margot Robbie. The Verge said the format differs from traditional microdramas made for phones. AI-generated production and reuse of existing content are also raising concerns about jobs, pay and royalties.
