The Korea Broadcast Media and Communications Review Committee has revised its fast-track review procedures to prevent a повтор of controversies over so-called targeted reviews and alleged gagging. It said it enacted and put into effect new basic rules and rules on subcommittee composition and operation on Aug. 31. Under the new rules, fast-track reviews require a proposal by a subcommittee member and consent from a majority of those present, and must be decided in an open meeting.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson voiced support for possible technical cooperation between Cardano and Ethereum, saying both ecosystems could benefit by sharing innovations. He urged Ethereum\'s developer community to review Cardano\'s UTXO-based smart contract approach and said it could help add new features and strengthen interoperability. Hoskinson said cooperation would not require financial exchanges or revisiting past disputes, and suggested direct collaboration could deliver needed functions within months.
