Naver Map upgrades pedestrian directions with earphone audio guidance

Naver is launching a real-time walking directions service that lets users reach destinations through voice guidance without looking at their smartphone screens. The company also upgraded its in-car navigation by adding alerts for rear speed enforcement cameras and a feature for reporting unexpected road conditions. AI to automate last mile of labor, Real World aims for human-level robot dexterity

Physical AI company Real World (RLWRLD) unveiled its in-house robotics foundation model, RLDX-1, and said it is accelerating efforts to expand in the South Korean market. At an event in Seoul, Chief Executive Ryu Jung-hee said even highly automated factories still rely on humans for 25 percent of work and that the company aims to automate such tasks with AI. The firm also outlined its data pipeline, synthetic data approach and hardware partnerships.
