Last-mile tech company Ratib said on Tuesday it has developed an AI-based automatic dispatch system, AI Rider Match, using order, dispatch, movement and delivery data accumulated at delivery sites.

The company said AI Rider Match, developed in-house by its affiliated research institute Strmile Lab, goes beyond simply linking orders to the nearest rider. It automatically matches suitable orders by comprehensively analyzing regional operating standards, rider-set execution conditions and the current delivery situation.

Ratib said it built its own dispatch engine based on data accumulated from its delivery network, instead of adopting an external general-purpose dispatch solution.

Even if the AI automatically matches orders that meet the conditions, it does not forcibly assign orders or automatically accept them regardless of the rider's intent. The rider's set execution conditions and existing performance information are also reflected in subsequent matching.

Ratib stressed that its core goal is not only to dispatch individual orders quickly, but also to improve rider travel routes and overall delivery efficiency.

The company said it plans to continuously train on order and delivery data accumulated through AI Rider Match. It will precisely analyze regional order flows, rider movement patterns and delivery outcomes, and gradually advance its AI dispatch model based on actual operating metrics such as dispatch time, delivery time, rider travel distance and order completion rate.

Ratib CTO Kim Ju-il (김주일) said, "Dispatch is a core area of last-mile operations that affects both delivery quality and rider productivity." He added, "We focused on developing AI that works in real operating environments based on data Ratib accumulated directly at delivery sites nationwide."
