Jensen Huang wraps up South Korea visit, stresses physical AI cooperation and startup support
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang attended a \"Korea AI Ecosystem Reception\" on June 8 to wrap up a five-day visit, saying South Korea is unmatched in heavy industry, manufacturing, electronics and AI software and that hundreds of billions of dollars in revenue would flow into the country over the next five years. He urged venture capitalists and the government to support AI startups and highlighted physical AI cooperation. Jensen Huang charts AI cooperation map in South Korea over four days
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (황젠슨) used a four-day visit to South Korea to map cooperation across the country’s AI value chain, spanning memory chips, foundries, data centres, AI models and robotics. He met executives from SK, Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Group, Naver and LG Electronics, and hosted a reception bringing together 18 companies. Talks covered generative and sovereign AI, chip infrastructure, overseas expansion and startup cooperation, the report said.

Bae Kyung-hoon to ask Jensen Huang for Vera Rubin GPU supply this year, says B300 on time
Bae Kyung-hoon (배경훈), deputy prime minister and science minister, said he plans to ask Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang for supply of Vera Rubin graphics processing units within this year. He said B300 chips appear likely to arrive on time, while Vera Rubin may be delayed. The ministry named Naver Cloud, Samsung SDS and Elice Group as operators for a 2.08 trillion won GPU procurement and support project targeting 9,704 GPUs.
