Google expands personalized AI \'Personal Intelligence\' to all U.S. users

Google is expanding its AI assistant feature, Personal Intelligence, to all users in the United States, TechCrunch reported on March 17. The feature had previously been available only to paid users and is supported across environments including AI Mode, the Gemini app and Chrome. It links with services such as Gmail and Google Photos to analyze past purchases, travel plans and preferences for tailored recommendations. The feature is off by default, and users can choose whether to connect it.
