Dell expands desktop lineup for agentic AI, offers modular data centers

Dell Technologies on Wednesday unveiled new deskside agentic AI solutions and purpose-built AI infrastructure as part of efforts to strengthen its NVIDIA-based Dell AI Factory. It introduced reference templates detailing hardware, AI models and software stacks for multiple agentic AI use cases. Dell also expanded its deskside hardware lineup, including systems with up to 748GB coherent memory. The company also presented a new high-density platform and modular data centers applying NVIDIA DSX POD reference designs.

Vice Chair Ha Jung-woo visits Daegu manufacturing AX sites, checks robots and mobility

The presidential National AI Strategy Committee said its standing vice chair, Ha Jung-woo, visited Daegu on Oct. 21 to inspect artificial intelligence transformation (AX) sites in manufacturing, robotics and mobility. Ha attended the opening of FIX 2026 at Daegu EXCO and toured an AI-based process innovation simulation center supporting small and midsize firms. He also reviewed manufacturing AX applied to cathode active material production at L&F Plus. He is set to visit Pohang on Oct. 22.

Bigwave Robotics launches Hyper Foundry integrated physical AI development platform

Bigwave Robotics, an industrial physical AI company, said on Monday it has launched Hyper Foundry, an integrated development platform that connects robot data collection, AI model training and validation, and deployment to real robots. The company said the platform bundles robot hardware, GPU servers and data and training environments, reducing the need to connect separate technologies. It targets universities and research institutes as well as manufacturing and logistics field trials.
